Andrew Welford

Andrew Welford

Andrew Welford was drawn to the creative side of the force as a young lad and found a love for art and drawing early in his life. He entered the world of photography over 35 years ago when he received his first SLR camera as a Christmas present from his parents, the now legendary Fujica STX-1. Over the years Andrew has embraced digital and loves the high-end editing and manipulation that today’s software and camera technology offers. Andrew has a love for Gothic architecture, Landscapes, Nature and Portraiture. Andrew is not seen very often without his camera.

Anna Bean

Anna Bean

Anna Bean is a freelance photographic artist and lecturer (at the School of Creative Arts, Hull College) who creates surreal tableaux inspired by old masters, myths, fairy tales, cult films and television programmes she watched as a child. Anna usually collaborates with friends and family who appear as subjects within her imagery which also links strongly to the themes of the Gothic and the Uncanny.  Her work can be described as darkly enchanting and familiar yet uncomfortably strange.

Anna Bean retired from Roving Eye in August of 2017
